the time now is 10:26 and i'm jon kelley. this morning, answers for a pacifica man who came home to find his wife dead from a vicious dog attack. today the veterinarian will report about why the dog attacked. the husband wrestled the dog to the backyard and called 911. police shot the dog after it managed to escape. the other pitbull is in the care of animal services. officers are examining that animal as well to piece together this attack. that dog, though, was not involved in the mauling. >>> this morning, a jogger is dead and a man hunt is on for the driver that plowed into him. the name has not been released for the man that was struck and killed last night in west sonoma county. a skidmark in the eastbound lane came to a running stop and a shoe and sock were out on the road with the body of the victim laying ten to 15 yards down the line. police say they couldn't see any car parts in the road but they are looking for other traces of evidence to track down the car. nulle'co le of bmekac but the time now is 10:27. weather
